One of mine would have to be when I put my head through a wooden door 28 times. To explain I had just found out my last grandma had passed away(my other one dided 2 months before), and I dont remember doing it.

(talk about splinters, the stiches were nothing compaired to pulling out all those damn splinters)

After the 1st time of putting it through wouldnt there already be a hole big enug 4 ur head? then if u repeatedly put ur head through that hole, u would have suffered no furher injury. (sry feeling very screwed up right now)

My would have 2 be when i found out that my dealer was arrested....

I managed to tear up the whole door (not just one hole) , my head turned that wood to splinters, splinters that (it seemed) all found a way to stick in me.

I'm not sure I particularly like the substance of this thread, but I respect the OP's decision for creating it.

Worst moment of my life.. losing Eileen. Second worst.. those who know me know the second worst would be a string of events.

--> would have to be true for most people. i mean you're talking about the worst moment in your life, and since you're still alive you don't know if anything worse is going to have to happen.

aliens could come down tomorrow and eat everyone alive one by one and then all our problems today and yesterday seem rather trivial, no?

happiness is simply the bright contrast of sunlight against shadow.

When i had my really bad anxiety disorder, not knowing why I felt like I was dying constantly. Going to the ER several times and doctors visits multiple times a week. I wouldn't wish it on anyone.

but honestly : a particularly bad moment i have experienced so far would probably be getting ambushed in an alley after touching down in a foreign country in which i would have to live in for the next 4 months, losing all my possessions that i brought with me. by like, 3 robbers wearing black masks and holding beatsticks.

i was reduced to poking around in rubbish bins the next day hoping that i could retrieve some bit of my possessions if they had chosen to dump them. probably looked like a homeless person, not being able to shave, comb my hair, brush my teeth, or take a bath. and then i was sick, with many hospital visit and scans and being fed steadily stronger drugs with unpleasant side effects that only started helping me after the 3 iteration. all this faced basically alone. oh and also count spending christmas alone, there was not a single person i knew for hundreds of miles around who i could speak to : after a week of not opening your mouth the sound of your voice sounds like that of a stranger, and the silence deafens you, and you feel like screaming to yourself in your room.

but no, i lie. i actually didn't mind any of these things. the greatest tragedy i think is waking up and realising that i never loved anyone, not even myself. this is like the curse of the mark of cain : you live life at one step removed from the world, but the price you pay is no one and nothing can hurt you. or is it the other way around?

Not trying to be shrinky..but dude I'd suggest u watch Shawshank Redemption (if u havent already)..it'll redefine you!! period!!!

Not making light of anyone's medical condition..but getting an operation on my arse(Pilonoidal Sinus) would be my nadir...seemed like ten or tweleve medicos were spending their own sweet time analysing the contours on my buttocks..couple more mins and i would've become paranoid to think they were photographing me!!

Thankfully, aneasthesia came as The Saviour!!!

Ohhh there's a lot to count, but the most recent would have to be the most recent of a string over the past few years.

I'm a student at WSU, and one of my dreams has always been to suit up for a football game, come running out of that tunnel with my teammates, and play a game in front of a packed house of screaming fans for this school. Four years ago to this day, I was told I would never play football again after tearing my ACL in my right knee and severely spraining both the MCL and PCL in the same knee. I was absolutely devastated, but I swore I would still make that dream and worked my ASS off for the last four years to rehab without surgery. I got full medical clearance two months ago to play again, and was literally going to go meet with Coach Doba within days not long after I got on-campus to talk to him about walking on, when I came down akwardly after jumping for a ball while throwing it around two days before I was going to go in, and felt a twist, pop, and burst of pain before hitting the ground. I tore my ACL again. Honestly, I don't know what's worse: the tear itself or the fact that four years of effort were wiped out like that.
